We were approached by Williams Racing and Atlassian to produce a film exploring the story behind the team’s special Madrid livery, connecting Williams’ heritage with its present.

Our creative approach centred around Bob, a former Williams mechanic who worked on the original car in the 1980s. Returning to Grove, Bob revisits the factory and reconnects with the people, places and memories behind the team’s history, while reflecting on how much has changed.

Alongside the factory story, we brought an original 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500SEC on the road, creating a visual connection between the car’s history and the inspiration behind the new livery. The production combined documentary storytelling, interviews, archive and cinematic car filming to tell a story of where Williams has come from and where it is going next.
