Louise Norbury

Film Project Lead

Louise is the BFI Spotlight Lead for Swindon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, where her role centers on working with existing and emerging festivals, cinemas and community organisations to fund and grow more film exhibition.

Her Masters and BA (Hons) in Film and European Cinema highlights Louise’s expertise and knowledge to programme films for Sofa Screenings, festivals and local community projects. She has an extensive background in mentoring people within community settings.

Louise’s passion lies in film and education and with over 20 years experience teaching and working with young people, she has been able to bring the two together to successfully set up Reel25. Reel25 is a film programming group for 17-25 year olds and meets regularly to learn about film exhibition, curate events and come together to create a community of young creatives.
