Our Film Programming Group gives young people the chance to contribute ideas, get creative, programme films and put on events, while gaining experience behind the scenes of film and culture.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Individuals with an interest in film, journalism, writing, photography or marketing.
Students or graduates of film or related subjects.
Enthusiastic and motivated individuals aged 17-25.
Must live local to Swindon and be able to meet with other young programmers at least once a month.
Creative minds eager to gain experience in film programming, curating, marketing, and journalism.
Program Highlights:
Regular Sessions: meeting with other young programmers.
Community Collaboration: Work together year-round to organise events and screenings.
Exclusive Takeovers: Host screenings and showcase films of your choice.
Free Tickets: Enjoy complimentary tickets to the events you help organise.
Event Curation: Curate talks and events around selected films and manage budgets.
Marketing Involvement: Participate in the marketing of films and events to boost engagement among young audiences (ages 17-25).
Writing Opportunities: Write blogs and articles related to the films and events.
Inclusive space: A welcoming space to allow you to be creative and yourself.
