Cancer Awareness Video Series for South Asian Communities
Changing Suits is a community-based organisation founded by sisters Bal and Taj, focused on creating open conversations within the South Asian community around topics that are often considered off-limits. Their mission is to bridge cultural gaps and connect people with the support and services they need to live healthier, more empowered lives.
We teamed up with Changing Suits to create a series of short, accessible videos aimed at raising awareness around breast and cervical cancer in the South Asian community. Each video is just a couple of minutes long, translated into 5 different languages, and voiced by community leaders – making sure the message really connects. The videos share practical info like where to find mobile screening vans, how to book appointments, and where to get testing kits, along with details about monthly meetups where people can talk openly, ask questions, and support each other.
This is part of a bigger project rolling out across the year, with deeper expert-led content coming each quarter. It’s all about breaking down barriers – whether that’s language, taboos, or confusion around healthcare – and helping people take action for their health.
