I Swear follows the powerful real life story of Tourette’s Syndrome activist, John Davidson. Diagnosed at the age of 15 with Tourette’s Syndrome, the film chronicles Davidson’s struggle growing up with his condition. While facing ridicule and judgement from his peers and wider community during his youth, Davidson’s determination in adulthood motivates him to campaign for better understanding of the condition and its complexity.
This hilariously compassionate story offers the importance of resilience in the face of adversity, and how simple yet important compassion is for fostering change in our society.
