Henry Hill has always idolised the mobsters from his neighbourhood, and decides to live a life of crime and corruption to be like them. Things take a turn however, as he and his friends try to make their way up the hierarchy any way they can.
The driving narrative is helped greatly by its cast, featuring Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, who would receive an Academy Award for his role as Tommy in the film.
