Blade Runner follows Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, an ex-police officer turned special agent living in the now dystopian Los Angeles in 2019. His sole mission is to eliminate a group of volatile androids, known as Replicants. This mission becomes a far greater challenge to Deckard than initially expected, as he is forced to question his humanity in light of the existence of the replicants, who seem just as alive and human as he is.
