Hank Thompson, a washed up ex-baseball star, finds himself in a whole lot of trouble, after a kind gesture to look after his punk-rock neighbour’s cat brings mobsters to his door.

Austin Butler leads the film as the ex-baseball player Hank, alongside Matt Smith as Hank’s punk neighbour, Zoë Kravitz, Regina King and many more.

This is the latest film from visionary director, Darren Aronofsky, whose last film, The Whale, delivered a best leading actor win for Brandon Fraiser. Aronofsky’s new film is a drastic departure from his previous film, The Whale, swapping melancholic dramedy for the more energetic, darkly comic and violent Caught Stealing that revels in the chaos of its central conflict.
