Having been helping people find locations and make films in Swindon for the past 29 years, it was a pleasure to launch the first Swindon film office last Autumn and make it official!
Here is our website which is just a starter for ten and we have loads more brilliant locations and suppliers (hotels, caterers and more) that we will add over time.

We’ve learnt so much over our first year and have enabled about 20 local productions and responded to weekly callouts from Filming In England from some major potential clients such as Marvel and Paramount.
One of our local filmmakers, @Alex Beije, filmed a music video in Swindon’s wonderful Town Gardens which look beautiful and are a great film location. The South Swindon Parish team were very supportive in giving us permission to film later in the evening and the cafe were great in leaving the tables out for us. A real Swindon effort!
This month we have Mirror Productions filming at Lydiard park for three days. Some of the crew have booked into the Lydiard Hotel so you can see the local economy is already boosted.
Another of our local filmmakers, @Sam Cheshire, filmed at the glorious Burderop House in return for some behind the scenes footage and some marketing shots for the owner.
A highlight for me has been getting permission to recce the Murray John Tower in Swindon which is currently empty and a potential brilliant film location – especially as number 38, which Security Shaun took us to, was my first flat when I left home back in 1977!
