Izzy is a filmmaker, journalist, and researcher whose passion for storytelling spans radio, film, and documentary. She first collaborated with Create Studios in Spring 2023, contributing to long-form factual development projects focused on social history and issue-driven narratives. Since then, her creative journey has continued to flourish across broadcast and production roles.
She currently works as a Journalism Reporter and Coordinator at BBC Radio Bristol, where she pitches and reports local stories, supports live production, and presents the travel news. She’s also a long-time entertainment correspondent for BBC local radio, regularly reviewing film and TV for South Asian audiences. In 2024, Izzy co-directed A Seed of Light, a documentary for Glastonbury Festival, and directed a music video for folk artist Ruby Saeed.
Her film and TV credits include runner roles on Netflix’s Wild Water, sound and camera roles for Boiler Room and Barri Films, and international experience as clapper loader and PA on a shoot in Serbia. With strong coordination skills, a keen editorial eye, and experience across formats, Izzy continues to build a multi-disciplinary career in storytelling and production.
