Create Studios are proud to share CREATE FUTURES - a graduate programme aimed at recent graduates from College or University returning home to Swindon, Wilts or Gloucester area. Create act as a supportive bridge to talented local graduates with great skills in Film, Animation, Illustration, Design, Photography or Writing.
The Create Futures programme has offered transition to employment to 6 graduates since September 2017 and we currently are planning for another cohort begin in January 2019 thanks to funding from Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

After a hugely successful 1st year with Didem, Oil and Jen, Thom, Amy and Jade we are now in preparation to welcome in the next cohort of Graduates, Thank you to the funding of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. So far our graduates have worked on promotional film for local and national charities, a startup business and music video as well as created DotMov - a dedicated platform for sharing stories, ideas and opinions all through the format of film. See some of their completed projects below. We look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months.
Digital Futures Call Out for Graduates
Following the success of Create Studios first graduate scheme we are very excited to continue this programme for another two years. Some of our recent grads went on to secure fantastic roles within the industry.
You can benefit from a supported transition programme from education to industry including:

You would be based with the Create team for 3 days a week for 12 weeks.

Recruiting - Creative Digital Media Talent Lead
We are looking for an exciting, dedicated mentor to lead a 2 year programme for graduates returning to the Swindon and Wiltshire area to embark on their careers. This exciting initiative will also include opportunities to build partnership with local universities and creative industries sector. We are looking for an inspirational tutor educated to degree level with a minimum of three years digital film production industry/mentoring experience to join our friendly, creative team based from our studios in Swindon. You will be required to teach camera skills, sound, editing and give an in-depth feel of industry practice.
The role is 0.6 FTE £28,000 pro rata commencing January 2019.

Create would like to congratulate Didem Gormus on starting with Create Studios as a Project Coordinator for a HLF project 'See Me Too' - a 10 month project where she will be we will be working with 3 community groups and 3 young peoples groups to enable diverse communities to explore the rich heritage of internal and external migration to Swindon. The project will culminate in a touring exhibition of digital media produced by the young people and facilitators of the course.
The talented Oliver Rogers has created a short science fiction film called Full Disclosure! If you are feeling generous and would like to support young people in the arts then he is also crowdfunding for the feature film!
